I choose to create my own visual, sonorant, and linguistic realities. Languages are ways of knowing which must be taken into consideration in a rapidly globalizing world. I underline the rapidly shrinking linguistic landscape of our world. Communication is more than a tool; it's a way of encoding and decoding the world. To write, to speak, to sign, to interact, to touch, to understand—to create language is to play with all the senses, to bend and twist the mind into uncomfortable positions. I invent my own languages to have the pure satisfaction of knowing the words I produce—their order, their connotations, their definitions—are all my own. Going beyond the familiar spoken and written forms, I show the versatility of linguistic expression.
